This is one of the simpler pieces I made using a young palm leaf. I made 2 other pieces with this leaf that are also available here at Shop Caribe!

This leaf is that of a young palm tree that has taken root in the garden. I grew up around the ‘mother plant,’ when it was much smaller and didn’t have a trunk. Seeing new plants coming up is heart-warming – I think of nature’s continuity and that of life. I hope the joy that my garden has given, and continues to give, me can now be extended to others through pieces such as this.
