Hand printed tote bag made with 100% heavy cotton canvas material. It is a heavier weighted fabric, which will allow for heavier objects. The handles are made from 1/2″ rope. The front side of the bag has a full print and the back side has a small pocket with more of the print.

The colours of the banana print tote bag may vary as it was done on one large piece of fabric. i.e. some bags may not have as much pink banana prints or green banana prints.

This is one of the simpler pieces I made using a young palm leaf. I made 2 other pieces with this leaf that are also available here at Shop Caribe!

This leaf is that of a young palm tree that has taken root in the garden. I grew up around the 'mother plant,' when it was much smaller and didn’t have a trunk. Seeing new plants coming up is heart-warming - I think of nature’s continuity and that of life. I hope the joy that my garden has given, and continues to give, me can now be extended to others through pieces such as this.
