I like to sometimes use gold paint when working on clothes (as well as silver and 3-dimensional pearl paint) as they shimmer and shine and give some element of jewellery without actually needing to have real gold, silver or pearls (a lot of the available gold and silver jewellery are manufactured using processes that are toxic to the environment).

Why the need for shimmer and shine? For me, it’s the moment when it catches the light and just for that very quick instant, it’s a connection with magic – and it’s magic and awe that, for me, make life beautiful! – think as well of the sun shimmering off the water in the sea. Can we really want more??

This piece can be added to over time to create new looks – thereby taxing the earth less by buying entirely new clothes (and she needs that!!!!). More art can be added. It is amazing how much this can evolve over time. Imagine……………………….

This is an organic bamboo and organic cotton tank top (no chemicals were used in the growth of the crops). It was good to the earth :). It was also made by unionised workers in the US (people were honoured and respected in its production).
