Description

To create this, I placed the tank top on a table and painted on it. When the front was finished and left to dry, I turned it over and painted the back.

I like treating clothes as if they are a piece of paper or a canvas. I put it on a table and then paint on it. I see it as ‘another painting’ and think the idea of wearing a painting very exciting. It will be like a living piece of art in my eyes – or a form of public art. This makes more sense to me than a piece of art being in a home. I like that, in this way, it is more accessible to more people.
