Why we do what we do

We’re focused on recycling and helping the environment. All fabrics used, are provided by local fashion designers, who have off-cuts.

Together, we help each other decrease what is discarded in landfills.

Our Story

CWA is handmade jewellery, made in a little corner of my home in Trinidad, located in the Caribbean.

I combined three things that I absolutely love, and hence CWA Christine Wearable Art. I utilise semi-precious materials, recycled materials and hand painted art in my pieces. They are all inspired by the Caribbean and my country.

On the weekends you’ll find me out and about, twinkling my toes in the sun lite Caribbean sea or roaming through the tropical landscape, gathering inspiration. I usually link up with those amazing fashion designers I mentioned earlier, during the week.

Which of course is where the magic happens, because once I see the fabrics, my creative energy starts to kick in. All the materials I use are sourced from local suppliers. 

Your handmade jewellery piece is made with care, love and good intentions. Every piece is original and unique as you are. They are light weight and easy to wear. 

I’m hopeful that you find a piece that you connect with, that tells the world who you are.
