Often when I’m out in the garden something would catch my eye – a leaf, a new shoot, a flower or the sky, a bird chirping, or a lovely dried leaf. I’m intrigued by the shapes of leaves particularly sculptural ones.

This piece was done using a new leaf from this palm tree that I’ve played around as a child. New trees have been springing up and give me great joy – reminding me of the continuity of nature and of life.
