Collaboration with artist and chef, Abhishek Sengupta. This Hand-painted One-off 100% organic cotton, union-made T-shirt is seen as a piece for a special occasion – we love the look of black with bits of gold, silver and metallic red shine for a comfortable, relaxed but dressy look.

As with all clothes, it can be altered over time to create new looks by more art being added, by adding appliques, by cutting, etc, etc – the possibilities limited only by one’s imagination. #makeitlast !

About the process….I learnt once a great lesson about working with others on a creative project. I was painting some fabric for a friend years ago. As could happen, I was nervous and unsure of what to do. He told me to ‘play myself’ meaning to ‘do my thing’ and that meant he trusted me. This is all I needed. I loved being validated like that.

Abby and I did the same with this. Our styles are different but we felt eager to do something together – to explore and meet somewhere – wherever that would be.
