I wrapped this T-shirt around a canvas and painted on it tricking my mind that I was paintings a piece that would go on a wall. I love this blurring of the line between art for a wall and art that could be worn. I want people to wear paintings.

Work is done on this piece just starting to go on to the back. It is my hope that it continues to be worked on – creating new looks – by myself or other people – it can eventually be the work of many hands.

Re-using what we have and making it last for as long as possible is so important as we try to take less from the earth.
