I painted on a piece which I did a few years ago, which I thought was finished but which didn’t sit happily with me. I had taught earlier that day in a class about making textures and patterns with a paint brush. The ideas stayed with me and informed the work I did here. Funny that this happened – I didn’t expect teaching to inform my work!
