Untitled, 2018. Acrylic on 6″x12″ canvas board. (*SOLD*)

I’m interested in plan drawings and maps after I was exposed to some beautiful ones when I studied Landscape Architecture. They have their own visual language and beauty. A quarried mountain, the sea, clouds, a river and a busy metropolis inspired this painting.
This is an unusual piece for me because I painted it when I was pretty relaxed and chill. I would often paint when feeling something intense – passion, anger or something I can’t quite put my finger on. This was done when I was in a mellow mood. 🙂
This is offered as part of the ‘Artist Support Pledge.’
The ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE is a generous culture and dynamic economy in support of artists and makers.
The concept is a simple one. Artists and makers post images of their work to sell for NO MORE than TT$1400 (US$200, £200, €200, ¥20000) each (not including shipping.) Anyone can then buy the work. Every time the artist or maker reaches TT$7000 (US$1000) of sales they pledge to buy another artist’s work for TT$1400 (US$200). This is open to artists all over the world and is to encourage a more democratic, equal and open economy for artists and makers.
