I hadn’t been painting for a few weeks before I did this so was ecstatic to paint again but things on my mind had me heavy! Painting the way I do is great – it puts me in touch with myself and somehow I feel connected to something – whether it’s me, my spirit, a higher power, the room, the paint, the canvas. Just some sense of connection is what I’m after often.
